Dan’s Easy Baby Back Ribs

When it comes to BBQ, pulled pork is one of the most popular of all dishes. This simple, great tasting version is slow cooked in a crock pot so you don’t have to heat up your kitchen or your BBQ. Try it. We guarantee you’ll like it!

1 or 2 Racks Baby Back Ribs (we prefer ribs with a lot of meat)
¼C Arizona Original Rub (or your choice of blend)

Coat ribs thoroughly with Arizona Rub paying particular attention to the meaty side and ends. Wrap well with heavy duty aluminum foil—meaty side up—sealing tightly to prevent juices from leaking out. Refrigerate for two or more hours. If desired,  marinate overnight in the refrigerator.

Remove ribs from refrigerator. Allow them to come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. Place in oven-safe baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 1½ hours. Remove from oven. Carefully open and remove from foil. Reserve juices. Place ribs on medium hot grill for 15 to 20 minutes turning once and brushing liberally with reserved juices. Serve immediately. If desired, serve your favorite BBQ sauce on the side. Suggestion: Use remaining reserved juices, if any, on baked potatoes. Note: If grilling on a gas grill, we suggest using a smoker box.
