Flying Leap and the Hoffmann family work together to develop Malbec wines from their high altitude, dry climate vineyards in Mendoza, Argentina. The center vines of their Lujan de Cuyo farm are considered the best fruit of the harvest, and these rations are set aside to produce a reserve wine each Spring. After shipment to the US, the wine is aged at our Arizona cellars in new French oak barriques for 24 months prior to blending. A Malbec-dominated blend with a single barrel of Cabernet Sauvignon, the violet scented wine is dark, dense and loaded with dark plum notes. It has a distinctive dusty finish. Ageworthy, serve at room temperature with roasted lamb.
