An expression of Sonoita’s unique terroir, our 2019 Tempranillo is quite rare, showing the strong mineral notes of this high-altitude growing site and its unpredictable, unforgiving microclimate. The wine is smooth, with chalky notes of ripe plum, fall leaves and dried fig. It has a pleasant lingering finish, with notes of crushed rock, mint, and clove. A very limited production run here, enjoy with our regional dishes such as chile rellenos, carne asada and as a wonderful accompaniment to a bowl of menudo.
