In 2015, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization designated Tucson as North America’s first International City of Gastronomy. UNESCO recognized Tucson as one of the oldest settlements in North America with over 4,000 years of distinctive agricultural history, and Flying Leap is proud to be part of this unique region’s farming community. To celebrate this historic global recognition of the uniqueness of our southwestern culture & cuisine, Flying Leap has infused Malbec wine from the Hoffmann family's Lujan de Cujo vineyard in Mendoza, Argentina with fresh, hand-cut Habanero peppers. The wine is absolutley beautiful, with rich notes of fresh-picked blackberries, plum and a warm, slightly-spicy chilie finish.
