A daring blend, The Big Red combines bold wines grown in the uniquely-austere and unforgiving microclimate of southeastern Arizona. Produced from hand-harvested fruit, the wines were vinified with great care and aged in both polished concrete tanks and new American oak barrels. The Big Red is full-bodied and fruit-forward, with distinctive notes of orange zest, blackberry and ripe plum. A beautifully balanced red wine, it will soften with extended cellar aging, and it’s bold character makes it a natural pairing with grilled meats, including wild game and spicy sausages.
