Tequila Lime Chicken Wings
These flavorful wings are a winner at game time or anytime family and friends get together.
4 lbs Chicken wings, cut into segments, tips removed and discarded
½ C Fresh lime juice
¼ C Tequila
2 TBSP Agave syrup
1 TSP Lime zest
¼ C Arizona Chili Lime Rub
2 TSP Arizona Chipotle Rub
Preheat oven to 350º. Rinse wing segments well. Pat dry. Season liberally with Arizona Chili Lime Rub making sure to thoroughly coat all sides of wings. Arrange wings on non-stick baking sheet and bake for 40 minutes. While wings are baking, mix tequila, lime juice, lime zest, agave syrup, 2 TSP Arizona Chipotle Rub, and 1 TBSP Arizona Chili Lime Rub in large bowl. Mix well. When wings have finished baking, remove from oven. Using a spatula, loosen wings from baking sheet. Place in bowl with tequila lime mixture. Toss well to coat wings thoroughly. Use tongs to remove from bowl and place on platter or large serving bowl. Serve immediately.
Note: Note: For later use, wings can be prebaked, refrigerated and reheated on a grill for 5 to 10 minutes. Add to tequila lime mixture after grilling.
